She wins three Grammys in 1968, including Best New Artist, on the heels of her suspenseful hit "Ode To Billie Joe." Gentry's song "Fancy" later becomes a huge hit for Reba McEntire. Happy 71st, Bobbie! Also on this date, Guitarist Duncan Cameron is born in Utica, New York, in 1956.  Following a tour of duty with The Amazing Rhythm Aces, he joins Sawyer Brown in 1991, contributing to "Thank God For You," "Treat Her Right" and "The Boys And Me". Happy 59th, Duncan!  

This Is Take Your Pants For A Walk Day!  

This is a great day to get some exercise and give your pants some as well. It's very easy to celebrate this day. Unless you are wearing a dress or a skirt, you probably are wearing pants. So, by definition, as you walk, they come along. Some of those pants are starting to look a little tight around the middle, so the walk should do them good.
