Willie Nelson is scheduled to release his second Frank Sinatra Tribute Album “That’s Life” in Feb. 2021.

Nelson's first tribute album to his friend Sinatra was in 2018 titled “My Way”.

Willy has had some major influences in his music career including Hank Williams and Bob Wills when it comes to songwriting among others who influenced his guitar style and more.

But Nelson credits Frank Sinatra having taught Willy the art of phrasing and shaping his vocal delivery.

Willy said “"I learned a lot about phrasing listening to Frank. He didn't worry about behind the beat or in front of the beat, or whatever -- he could sing it either way, and that's the feel you have to have."

Willy Nelson won a Grammy in 1978 with his collection of pop standards on his album “Stardust", which caught Sinatra's attention. By 1984, they were co-headlining shows in Las Vegas.

This new tribute will be Nelson's 71st album as he continues to pay tribute to numerous artist from time to time including Kris Kristofferson, Ray Price, Lefty Frizzell, George and Ira Gershwin along with others.

This new album follows the 2020 release of a book Nelson co-wrote with his sister and bandmate Bobbie Nelson, Me and Sister Bobbie: True Tales of the Family Band.
