Canadian country artists Jason Benoit and Leah Daniels recently released their cover of Conway Twitty's song "Slow Hand," and they're giving The Boot's readers the first look at their music video for the duet. Press play above to watch.

"I couldn't be happier to have Leah, such an incredible female country music artist, as my first duet partner," Benoit, who originally recorded his "Slow Hand" cover solo, tells The Boot. "I love her voice, and it fits so well in the song."

Benoit and Daniels have known each other for a few years, but this collaboration is their first time working together. The video is also his first with another artist.

"It was actually a lot easier than I thought," Benoit admits. "We had so much fun shooting this video, and as you can tell while watching it, we truly love the artistry in what we do."

Written by John Bettis and Michael Clark, "Slow Hand" was originally recorded by the R&B group the Pointer Sisters in 1981; it became a Top 10 hit for them. One year later, Twitty released his version of the track, which hit No. 1 on the country charts. Jeff "Diesel" Dalziel produced Benoit's version.

The 2015 Canadian Country Music Association's Atlantic Discovery program winner, Benoit has released four Top 30 songs and toured throughout Canada. He debuted his first full-length album, Waves, in 2017.

Daniels, meanwhile, won 2016's Canadian Radio Music Awards FACTOR Breakthrough Artist of the Year honor and is a four-time CCMA Interactive Artist of the Year nominee. She's been working on new music in both Nashville and Los Angeles.
