Everything We Know About Jake Owen’s ‘Greatest Hits’ Album
The holiday season will bring an exciting present of sorts for Jake Owen fans: Just after Thanksgiving, the country star will release a greatest hits album.
Although fans will have heard much of the material on Owen's Greatest Hits album before, there will be a couple of new songs included in addition to the tracks that country music listeners already know and love. Read on to learn more about those new songs, the other tunes on Greatest Hits and more -- in short, everything that's known so far about the project.
The Title
Owen's new album is, appropriately, titled Greatest Hits.
The Release Date
Owen's Greatest Hits is due out on Nov. 24, Black Friday 2017.
The Album Cover
The cover of Greatest Hits, which readers can see below, is a black-and-white photo of Owen, smiling. His autograph is at the bottom of the cover, in a sky-blue-ish color; Greatest Hits is written next to it in small white text.
The Record Label
Greatest Hits is being released via RCA Nashville, Owen's longtime record label. The record will be Owen's final one with RCA, as he recently signed with Big Loud Records.
The Producer
Since the songs on Owen's Greatest Hits disc are mostly taken from previous albums, those track's producers are the same as before. The producer of the record's two new songs, however, has not been revealed.
The Singles
Thus far, no singles have been released from Owen's Greatest Hits album. The record does feature two new songs, though, so perhaps one of those will be released as a single down the line.
The Songs
Owen's Greatest Hits disc will feature 13 songs: His very first single ("Yee Haw"), his first Top 5 single ("Don't Think I Can't Love You"), his first gold single ("Eight Second Ride"), his six No. 1 songs, a few fan-favorite tracks and two brand-new songs.
The brand-new tunes from Owen are Greatest Hits' final two tracks: "Subliminal Love," written by Owen, Tommy Cecil, Benjy Davis and Cole Taylor, and "Long as You're in It," written by Owen, Matt Alderman, Cecil, Kelsey Hart and Jared Mullins.
