Casey Chesnutt is carrying on a family tradition as a singer, songwriger through three generations now.

Casey Chesnutt is a live music entertainer, recording artist and songwriter. His influence varies from red dirt to classic country and rock.

Casey is following in the foot steps of his father, Country music legend Mark Chesnutt, one of Country’s true musical treasures. Mark has 14 No. 1 hits, 23 top ten singles, four platinum albums and five gold records to his credit. Many of you know Mark's music well like “Bubba Shot The Jukebox”,“I’ll Think Of Something”,  “Brother Jukebox,” “Blame It On Texas,” “Old Flames Have New Names,” “It Sure Is Monday”, “Going Through The Big D,” and many more great songs. Mark also continues to tour on a regular basis.

Even if you're a big Mark Chesnutt fan, you may not know that Mark actually got his start in the honky-tonks of Beaumont, Texas, learning from his father, Bob Chesnutt who was also a singer/songwriter.

That makes Casey Chesnutt a third generation singer/songwriter and hopefully will follow with the kind of success Mark has enjoyed. There styles and directions are a bit different in that Mark Chesnutt has made his mark in the mainstream traditional country sound and Casey tends to be drawn more to the Texas/Red Dirt style of Country music.

Casey began his career at the age of 15 playing clubs, restaurants and bars at night in and around south east Texas and going to high school in the day. His career was put on hold when Casey decided to join the Marine Corps after high school where he served for the next 5 years. He then began chasing his dream with his music. Now Casey can be found in just about any live music venue all over the southern United States area and we are proud to be playing Casey Chesnutt's current single "Even Texas Couldn't Hold Her" on Kickin' Country 103-1. check it out right here...

Casey, Keep on releasing great songs and we'll keep playing them on Kickin' Country 103-1.
