Around 2AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of W. Ave B for a domestic disturbance.  Officers investigated and determined Michael A. Gonzalez assaulted a female.  Gonzalez was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.

Around 3:15AM, Officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Arden Rd in reference to a suspicious person. Who was standing in the middle of the roadway.  Officers recognized the man, 52YO Lonnie B. Haley, from previous incidents.  He was shirtless, waving his arms, and pacing in the middle of the road.  Police learned Haley had taken Methamphetamine and was clearly a danger to himself and others.  Haley was arrested for Public Intoxication.  Police discovered Haley had also tied a rope to two construction barrels and suspended the rope across the roadway, causing a hazard to oncoming traffic.

Around 3PM, Officers were dispatched to 3301 Sherwood Way at HEB in reference to a shoplifter.  Officers identified the suspect as 41YO Bryan McClure.  McClure was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and arrested for Class C Theft and an out of County Warrant for Non Payment of Child Support.

Around 3:30PM, Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of N Chadbourne for a welfare check.  A male subject was found sleeping in a parked vehicle. While identifying the subject, dispatch confirmed outstanding warrants for his arrest. During search incident to arrest, Officers located a small amount of suspected narcotics, which field-tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine.  Subject was arrested for his warrants, State Jail Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and transported to Tom Green County Jail without incident.  Suspect is 31YO John Eric Juarez.

Around 2:30PM, Officers were dispatched to the Parole Office located at 938 Arroyo in regards to a wanted subject.  The suspect was located, his “BLUE Warrant” was confirmed, and the subject was arrested.  During a search incident to his arrest, officers located a small amount of suspected narcotics, which field-tested positive for the presence of heroin.  45YO Johnny Fennell was arrested for his Parole violation.

Just before 11PM, a Patrol Officer observed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed traveling north on Bell Street and quickly turn onto Mayse Street without properly signaling his intent to turn.  The driver and passenger were identified and the driver was found to have 6 city commitment warrants.  During a search incident to the driver’s arrest, officer located marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  The vehicle’s registration sticker was discovered to be altered.  The driver, 28YO Fabian Garcia Gomez, was charged with Driving While License Invalid (Prior Conv), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class B Possession of Marijuana, Display Fictitious Motor Vehicle Registration, and his outstanding Warrants.
