Every year since 2010, Miranda Lambert has taken home the trophy for Female Vocalist of the Year at the ACM Awards. Will her dynasty continue in 2019? She's back in the running with four other fierce female competitors.

Reigning champion Lambert's year has been jam-packed with a busy tour schedule of her own, plus shows with the Pistol Annies and the release of the trio's new album. Ashley McBryde is also in the running for the trophy in 2019, following the release of her debut album, Girl Going Nowhere, and even a Grammy Awards nomination.

Maren Morris just dropped her sophomore album, Girl, and in addition to creating that masterpiece, she has also kept up with a crazy-busy tour schedule. Fellow nominee Kacey Musgraves rocked the country music world (and beyond) when she won Album of the Year at the 2019 Grammy Awards with her third studio album, Golden Hour.

Lastly, there's Carrie Underwood, who's been going up against Lambert for this trophy for years. She's back in the running after the release of her much-anticipated album, Cry Pretty.
