A non-profit organization has placed a billboard along I-35 in Round Rock telling passers-by to not "be bullied" into taking the COVID-19 vaccine.

The billboard was paid for by a group called the Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom, based out of Minnesota. According to the story from KXAN-TV, the group is placing billboards around the country to “raise awareness and build resistance to vaccination mandates.”

If you go to the website on the billboard, RealRisks.org, you are redirected to the site patienttoolbox.cchfreedom.org/pmh.php/41#top. The site claims many people suffer from severe events after taking the COVID-19 vaccine.

More than 380 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the U.S. from December 14, 2020, through September 13, 2021, according to the CDC on September 14, 2021. Although long-term effects are as yet unknown, many of the vaccinated have experienced little to no difficulty. However, many other Americans have experienced mild to severe adverse events, which is not often mentioned in news reports pushing vaccination. The pro-vaccine, vaccine-injured individuals speaking at U.S. Senator Ron Johnson's June 28, 2021 press conference on adverse reactions want to be seen, heard, and believed.

The story from KXAN-TV in Austin reports those who do not take the vaccine are far more likely to die from COVID-19.

Despite ongoing opposition to mandates and even vaccinations themselves, unvaccinated people are 11 times more likely to die from COVID-19 than fully vaccinated people. Local and national health officials still say getting the shot is the best way to protect against the coronavirus.

President Joe Biden has called for businesses with more than 100 employees to require vaccinations or weekly COVID-19 testing of employees. Health facilities that accept Medicaid or Medicare are also required to have employees vaccinated.

Here in Texas, Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order banning vaccine mandates for state and local governments.

So, what is your opinion on this billboard? Do you feel there is a bullying campaign out there to get people to take the COVID-19 vaccine? Tell us what you think on Facebook or use our station app.
