The City of San Angelo will host a town hall meeting regarding the potential for increased commercial development along the US 67/Sherwood Way corridor and the effects to the area, including traffic safety concerns that might be triggered by such growth.
Hosted by Councilmember Charlotte Farmer, the meeting will be held at Southland Baptist Church, 4300 Meadow Creek Trail, this Wednesday, November 10 and will begin at 6 p.m.

At the meeting, TxDOT will present information regarding proposed safety improvements to US 67/Sherwood Way between Loop 306 and FM 2288/Southland Blvd related to this growth. Proposed work includes an additional, new traffic signal, a raised median, and alteration of the existing direct connection from southbound US 67/Houston Harte to FM 2288. Public comments will be accepted at the meeting and until November 20, 2015.
