CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Investigators say a second suspect has been arrested in the slaying of a Corpus Christi gun store owner during a robbery that left an employee wounded.

Nueces County jail records show Filamir Gomez was being held Friday on a capital murder charge. Officers on Wednesday arrested the 20-year-old Gomez in San Diego, Texas, with bond set at $1 million.

Police say Shooters Depot store owner George Koumbis was fatally shot during the Sept. 1 holdup. A worker was also shot, but survived. Police later recovered a vehicle and guns believed stolen from the store.

Another suspect was arrested last week and charged with capital murder. Corpus Christi police say two other suspects are still sought.

An attorney for Gomez did not immediately return a message Friday to comment.
