Turkey Shoot Contest for Children Happens Tuesday

The City of San Angelo's Recreation Division will stage two "turkey shoot"  free-throw contests from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.  Locations are:

The Southside Recreation Center, 2750 Ben Ficklin Road.

The Carl Ray Johnson Recreation Center, 1103 North Farr Street.

There is no entry fee.  Registration begins at 6:00 p.m..

Winners receive frozen turkeys.

Age divisions are 4 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 12, 13 to 15, and 16 and older.

Competitors will shoot 5 free throws.
