COWBOY JUBILEE                                    THURS - SUN, OCT 7TH - 10TH
Celebrating everything cowboy, the Cowboy Way Jubilee  is coming to Fort Concho  Thurs, Oct 7th - Sun, Oct 10th. It’s 3-days of Everything Cowboy! Think of it as a modern-day version of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show with celebrity guest appearances, authors, workshops, and demonstrations. Cowboy music plays every day, accompanied by some yodeling and fiddle playing. Vintage Western movies and TV shows play, many people dress up in period costume, and vendors peddle cowboy wares. The Cowboy Way Jubilee is meant for the whole family. All kids 18 and under are admitted free. for more information, call 655-4136.

SHANNON DRIVE-THRU CLINIC                               THURS - SAT, OCT 7TH - 9TH

Shannon Clinic is hosting a drive-thru flu and COVID shot clinic this Thurs, Oct 7th through Sat, the 9th in the Ball Field parking lot, located at the corner of South Jackson and University Avenue. Shannon will be there from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 7th and 8th and from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the 9th. The clinic will accept and file insurance. Patients may pay $35.00 per flu shot. COVID vaccines will be available for ages 12 and up and are free. No appointment is necessary.

DO PORTUGAL CIRCUS                                       FRI, OCT 8TH - THRU OCT 17TH

BE THEATRE - "24 HOUR THEATRE"                                 SAT, OCT 9TH

Be Theatre presents "24 Hour Theatre" Sat, Oct 9th at 7:30 pm in the Brooks and Bates Theatre. This will be unlike any theatre production you've ever experienced! Returning for a 3rd year, this incredible evening of theatre offers several short original plays, 1 musical and 1 Dance piece all in just one performance. Admission is free but donations are much appreciated.

SIERRA VISTA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH - HUNTER SAFETY    SAT, OCT 9TH

Sierra Vista United Methodist Church is offering a hunter education course Sat, Oct 9th from 9 am to 3:00 pm designed for novice or young hunters ages 9 and above. The course covers firearm and hunting safety plus hunting ethics and wildlife conservation. All materials are provided. Courses are taught by certified volunteer instructors. FEAR STATION, HAUNTED RAILWAY                          OCT 14TH - OCT 31ST

The Railway Museum of San Angelo invites you to come to the Fear Station and take the Haunted Railway tour Oct 14th - Oct 31st nightly. San Angelo's train station has stood with over a century of ghostly stories to tell. Call 325-486-2140 for more information.

FORT CONCHO AFTER DARK                                         FRI, OCT 15TH
You're invited to experience a spine tingling night tour of Fort Concho After Dark on Fri, Oct 15th from 8-10 pm. Stroll through the grounds of the Fort as you hear strange stories behind the tragic deaths of many of its residents. Visit several of the fort’s buildings and listen to guides recount the stories of people who lived and died at the site. NIGHTMARE @ CAMP WILLIAMS                                OCT 15TH - OCT 31ST

Do you think you have what it takes to make it out of Camp William's 2 acre Nightmare Maze? Check it out Oct 15th - 31st  starting at 9 pm nightly at Camp Williams, located at 11640 US Hwy 87N Carlsbad , TX. This Maze is for ages 8 and up. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. A waiver will need to be signed by an adult for each person entering the maze. Follow the Haunted House signs to make your way to the Nightmare Maze. ANGELO STATE UNIVERSITY - HOMECOMING PARADE             SAT, OCT 16TH

Angelo State University invites everyone to come out and enjoy their Homecoming Parade on Sat, Oct 16th at 10 am! Get ready to spread some serious blue and gold pride! The parade will feature floats from various student organizations, the Ram Band and Air Force ROTC Detachment 847. This year’s King and Queen finalists will also participate. The parade will begin at Mayer Field/Varsity Soccer Field and then winds through the ASU campus to end at the parking lot of the Junell Center.

MARINE CORPS TOYS FOR TOTS DRIVE                 SAT, OCT 16TH

The first Marine Corps Toys For Tots Drive of 2021 is being held on Sat, Oct 16th from 8 am - 6pm. US Marines will be posted at several store fronts throughout the area accepting cash, check, & scanned monetary donations and/or donations of new/unwrapped toys for children throughout the Concho Valley this Christmas. They will be based out of the Sonora Bank parking lot across from Sam's on that day. Funds raised in this area are spent on toys for children in need within the Concho Valley and they would love to see your support in dropping off a donation.

ASU ALUMNI ASSOC GOLF TOURNAMENT                    MON, OCT 18TH

Join us in the largest fundraising event for the ASU Alumni Association on Mon, Oct 18th at the San Angelo Country Club, presented by West Central Wireless! Choose between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. tee times available. Tee times are on a first come first serve basis.
