The Children’s Advocacy Centers annual Champagne and Diamonds fundraiser features country star, Jimmy Wayne.

The premier event is scheduled every year on Valentine’s Day and now in its fourteenth year. The Gala is held at the historic Cactus Hotel on Saturday, February 14, 2015, with an exclusive cocktail reception with Jimmy Wayne at 5:30 p.m.  At 6:30, an unforgettable evening begins with music, cocktails, champagne, and dinner followed by a live and a silent auction.

The evening will sparkle with anticipation as glasses of champagne are sold in limited quantity for $100 each. One lucky winner will walk away with a glass of champagne containing the $5,000 one-carat diamond, generously donated by Mark Priest with Legend Jewelers.  All remaining glasses will contain a one-carat cubic zirconia.

Jimmy Wayne is a country recording artist, songwriter, author and former foster child. Wayne will entertain and share his true-life story of growing up in the foster care system. By the time he was 14-years-old, he attended 12 different schools and at the age of 16, he ended up living on the streets. Wayne is an ardent advocate for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and a National Spokesperson for CASA.

The Children's Advocacy Center of Tom Green County, Inc. strives to prevent child abuse and neglect and secure for each child a safe and nurturing home through four programs:  Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Hope House, Family Enrichment Services and Child Fatality Review Team.
