Congratulations San Angelo. You set a record at Wild West Fest held at the San Angelo River Stage on Friday night!

Check out the gallery of pictures below for a look at what turned out to be a record night for the city of San Angelo.

Thanks to everyone who attended to make the record possible, this record could not be achieved without you.

We would be remiss if we did not also thank the great artists who graced the stage at Wild West Fest for this record night. It all started with the lovely Kat Hasty, then Shane Smith & The Saints rocked the house and finally everybody sang along with all of Parker McCollum's songs to wrap up the night at the River Stage.

Some great organizations benefitted from Wild West Fest which was held over two days at three different venues. This year's beneficiaries included the Wall FFA, the Wall Ag Boosters and West Texas Counseling & Guidance.

Many thanks also go out to Thomas Halfmann, the concert organizer and promoter. Thomas did a tremendous job preparing for this year's fest making sure it all went off without a hitch.

Thomas is a young man just 22 years of age and is going places. After bringing Parker McCollum and thousands to San Angelo, you just know he will be promoting the likes of Luke Bryan and Eric Church at arena and stadium shows across the country soon. Heck, I would not be surprised to see him book Beyoncé, Cardi B or even Billie Eilish for major tours in 10 years.

And looking ahead just one year, Thomas is already planning for next year's Wild West Fest. He says it will be a 3-day event with more big headliners coming to San Angelo. We cannot wait to set another record in 2022!

So, let us know if you made it out for the record night at Wild West Fest. Tell us about it and even send us your pics on Facebook or use our station app.
