A great night of music for a worthy cause.

A two-day, 20-station radiothon earlier this month was the most successful in the media company's history.

Now that's a hole-in-one.

First-time and returning artists flocked to Memphis, Tenn., in January for the 30th anniversary of Country Cares, and former St. Jude patients shared their stories.

"Everything we read said that we would take our baby home and just wait for his disease to progress — that he would die."

Owen wanted to launch a campaign to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and he hoped that the country music industry would join him in rallying behind the cause. Did they ever.
