Showdown in San Angelo Promotes Recycling Again This Year

Showdown in San Angelo has again partnered with Keep San Angelo Beautiful and area businesses to be a “green" event again this year. If you recycle, you could win great prizes.

Everyone who goes to the drag boat races this weekend will be given a recycle bag for your empty cans. When you fill up the bag, drop it off at the recycle rewards booth. For each bag you turn in, you'll get a ticket for hourly drawings for items from the racers and a chance to go out and sit on the starting barge, right in the middle of all the action!. Tickets are also good for prizes like popsicles, swim passes to Brown's pool, koozies, t-shirts and more. So don't throw those cans on the ground or in the trash. Recycle and win!
All proceeds from recyclables will be donated to the S.A.F.E. Recycling Center.
