Enjoy an afternoon of art making in the Education Studio. They always feature clay and watercolors, and regularly introduce new art projects to try. Visitors are welcome to drop in anytime between 3 & 6 pm.

St. Margaret’s is hosting their annual Fish Fry every Friday until April 3rd from 4:30 – 8:00 pm at 2619 Era St. For just $10 per plate you get a delicious fried fish dinner, sides, dessert and drink. You’re invited to dine in or take out. 

 

COWBOY ROPING LESSONS 

San Angelo State Park 

Wed, March 11th 10 am – 11 am 

Let park rangers teach you how to be a true Texas Cowboy! Learn the fundamentals of roping, including proper holding of the rope, timing your throw, and rigging the rope back up for another round. Bring water and snacks to meet at the Chaparral Pavilion. For more information, call 949-8935.

Fort Concho 

You’re invited outside for an evening of storytelling and s’mores under the Texas night sky at Fort Concho. Bring a blanket and or chairs and listen to their story tellers recount untold tales about Fort Concho and the Texas Frontier. The event is free. For more information, call 481-2646. 

 

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK SALE

McNease Convention Center 

The 2020 Annual Book Sale runs Fri – Mon, March 13th - 16th at the McNease Convention Center & is hosted by the Tom Green County Friends of the Library and the City of San Angelo. Get used fiction, non-fiction, children and young adult books and more at bargain prices.
