The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce has announced that Membership Coordinator Laura Lewis has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Member Relations effective January 1, 2017.

The announcement was made by Chamber President Dan Koenig.

Laura’s new position will help manage, create and carry out the Chamber’s main programs, services, events and networking opportunities.  She will be the direct liaison to Chamber members and will help connect them to services and benefits. “Laura’s enthusiasm and people skills make her a perfect fit for the position,” said Koenig. “Laura connects well with our business community, and I’m confident that her talents will help enable our business base and San Angelo to grow.”

Laura will also work closely with many of the Chamber board committees and help coordinate volunteers, meetings and events.  “I have a strong desire to help businesses succeed,” said Laura, “and I look forward to the challenge and working hard for our membership.”

Laura was raised in San Angelo and graduated from Angelo State University. She came to the San Angelo Chamber following a 25- year career with Delta Airlines. She also brings extensive experience in event management through previous work in the Park City, Utah area.
