When home is no longer safe for a child, and the child must enter the foster care system, a judge may appoint a committed volunteer called a CASAor Court Appointed Special Advocate. The volunteers focus is on the child, giving hope and help in guiding the child to a safe, permanent home.

The next training begins January 27-30th & February 3-6th, 2014 – Monday through Thursday for two weeks from 5:30-9:00 pm. Training requirements include: 21 years of age, thirty hours of training (provided by the highly trained CASA staff), background check and an interview. Dinner provided during the training.
