Have A Heart for ADACCV

The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley (ADACCV) is gearing up for its Annual Have A Heart for ADACCV E-Auction.

The event takes place on Sunday, February 12^th from 10 AM until Monday, February 13^th at 3 PM. Sweet treats and gifts baskets, donated by local businesses and friends of ADACCV, will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

The e-auction will take place on ADACCV’s website at www.adaccv.org.  The items will go to the highest bidder on February 13^th at 3 PM so auction winners have their goodies in time for Valentine’s Day on February 14^th.

ADACCV staff will stay until 6:00 PM on Monday, February 13^th to give auction winners the chance to pick up their gifts.

ADACCV is currently accepting donations for the auction; such as confectioneries, restaurant gift certificates, hotel stays, spa gift sets, golf rounds, tickets to community events, or any other fun and creative gifts.

Items can be dropped off at ADACCV’s Cotton Lindsey Center or arrangements can be made for items to be picked up. All items need to be at the ADACCV Cotton Lindsey Center, 3553 Houston Harte, San Angelo, by 5 PM on Friday, February 10^th. Baked goods and other perishable items can also be dropped off on Saturday, Feb 11 between 10-12 at the Cotton Lindsey Center.

ADACCV, a private 501(c)3 non-profit agency, serves the Concho Valley community with education, prevention, intervention, and treatment of substance abuse issues.  Proceeds from Have A Heart will benefit ADACCV’s capital campaign to expand services. The project consists of adding residential detox, consolidating treatment services to one location and doubling the residential treatment programs for men and women and their children.
