Texas Governor Greg Abbott is continuing to expand opening Texas as Phase Two broadens that opening in more ways starting this Sunday, May 31st. 

On Friday, May 22, 2020, most Texas counties were reopened for outdoor motorsports events that operate at up to 25 percent of the normal operating limits as determined by the venue owner and that operate under guidelines that facilitate appropriate social distancing. 

Gov. Greg Abbott has announced that this Sunday, May 31st, professional sports in Texas can resume without fans. Abbott also said youth sports and overnight camps can resume on the same date. This opening is for all Texas counties, all professional sporting events that operate at up to 25 percent of the normal operating limits as determined by the venue owner for outdoor events or, for indoor events, with no spectators physically present on the premises of the venue.

This proclamation shall remain in effect and in full force, unless otherwise modified, amended, rescinded, or superseded by the governor.
