Christmas at Old Fort Concho will be Dec. 5-7. The annual event’s program and ticket order form are posted at fortconcho.com. Tickets can be ordered by mail or purchased over the phone at 325-481-2646. Guests may also visit the fort’s Visitor Center at Barracks 1 on South Oakes, across from the Farmers Market Pavilion.

General admission seats for Murphey’s Christmas concert on Thursday, Dec. 4, are $25. Table seating and reserved tables are available from the co-sponsoring San Angelo Cultural Affairs Council by calling 325-653-8793. Even with a sleet storm that coated the city during last year's performance, the show almost sold out; fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early.

Saturday morning’s Lions Pancakes with Santa costs $5 for the meal only and $10 for a combo ticket that includes a grounds admission. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Saturday night's Frontier Christmas Dance and Concert is from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $5 for seniors, military and students, and $10 for adults. Both events are on Dec. 6 inside the Fort Concho Stables on Henry O. Flipper Street.

A half-dozen children's workshops take place in various locations during the day Saturday, with fees ranging from $10 to $12. Topics include Indian Lore, Miss Birdie’s Tea Party, Christmas Around the World, Santa’s Workshop, Boot Camp, and the new addition of Elsa & Anna’s Frozen Party.

The Sunday, Dec. 7, cowboy chuckwagon breakfast costs $10 for a classic meal of eggs, sausage and biscuits at 9 a.m. A church service follows at 10 a.m.
