1952 - For the second and final time, Hank and Audrey Williams are divorced.

1970 - Kris Kristofferson's song, "Sunday Morning Coming Down", is recorded by Johnny Cash.  The same year, Gerald Vernon is born in Columbus, Ohio.  He is better known today as, Gary LeVox, lead singer of the trio, Rascal Flatts.

2004 - Toby Keith has the # 1 song on Billboard's country singles chart with "Whiskey Girl".

2010 - Carrie Underwood ties the knot with hockey player, Mike Fisher, in Georgia.  Garth Brooks, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw were in attendance at the ceremony.

2012 - Luke Bryan sings  "The National Anthem",  before Major League Baseball's All-Star Game, in Kansas City.

2013 - Following a stroke, Randy Travis, has emergency brain surgery at Baylor's Heart Hospital here in Texas.

Tony Munoz, 50 something.  From his family and friends, Gage, Lexie, Claudia, Tony Jr., Shanee, Tammy and Whitney.

Peggy Huerta, 57.  From her husband Joe, son Joe, her other 3 children and 3 grand daughters.

Michael Garcia, 25.  From Aunt Susie and Cousin Justin.

Holly Voth, 23.  From all the Cook Family.  Holly is today's winner of a birthday cake from Halfmann's Cake Cottage.
