1973 - "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man" by Conway Twitty & Loretta Lynn is #1 on Billboard's country chart.
1979 - "Coca Cola Cowby" by Mel Tillis, claims the #1 spot on Billboard's country chart.
2004 - "Horse Of A Different Color", the debut album from Big & Rich, is certified platinum.
2009 - Reba McEntire's first album, on the Valory label, "Keep On Loving You", is released.
