Last year's Larry Joe Taylor Music Festival was canceled, but this year the festival is back and taking place in September as opposed to its usual April dates.

The festival simply known as "LJT" to most everyone gets underway at the Melody Mountain Ranch just outside Stephenville this Monday. The weeklong fest will run through Saturday, September 18th.

I got a chance to speak with Larry Joe this week and he says they are prepared to make things safe for people who attend the festival.

Check out the interview below

Check out Larry's festival website for all info LJT. As you would expect, the lineup is top notch.

Roger Creager will be there Thursday night and if you've been to LJT in the past, you know the "Creager Beer Shower" is always a highlight. Just make sure you bring a raincoat or an umbrella if you're in the crowd.

Friday night, Koe Wetzel will hit the LJT stage and it's always a sing-sing-sing along when it comes to February 28, 2016.

And one of the fun things about LJT is you may even see Koe show up at your campsite after all the music is done on the main stage.
