The People Plant Connection is offering 2 gardening seminars this Friday & Saturday.

Friday's Lunch & Learn Class features Allison Watkins, Agrilife Extension Horticulturist, who will tell you about the best plants for the Concho Valley. Good plant selection is the best way to create a beautiful, low maintenance, landscape. The class will be from Noon-1 at the Edd B. Keyes Building on the 2nd floor in the Commissioners Court Room. Cost is $5.00 per person.

Saturday will feature the first of the Talk & Tour Series presented by Mike Moseman, owner of the Desert Gardens at Cactus Town. Mike will tell you about using cacti and succulents to create a garden that looks great and smells good too. After Mike's presentation, you can drive out to his nursery on Hwy. 67, where he will give you a personal tour of Cactus Town and answer all questions.
This meeting will be at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts Studio in the breezeway beginning at 9am. Refreshments will be offered along with a chance to win door prizes.
