Neighborhood security and crime watch programs in the Santa Rita area will be the focus of a town hall meeting hosted by District 5 City Councilman Lane Carter on Monday evening, Nov. 21st.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21st in the cafeteria at Santa Rita Elementary School, 615 S. Madison St. The public is invited.

Councilman Carter organized the gathering after a recent spate of burglaries and break-ins in the Santa Rita neighborhood.

Police Chief Frank Carter and Operations Director Shane Kelton will be on hand to talk about neighborhood security and efforts by City government to ensure the public’s safety, to offer tips on how homeowners can protect themselves, and to answer residents’ questions.
