Having been raised on a farm in southwest Missouri, I can appreciate a chance to see up close a lot of machinery that I haven't been exposed to in years.  Memories and history is what the 27th Annual Hill Country Antique Tractor & Engine Show in Fredericksburg, Texas is all about.  This Friday, June 8th, and Saturday, June 9th, it all happens at the Gillespie County Fairgrounds, two miles south of Fredericksburg, on State Highway 16.

You'll see lots of antique machinery, some fully restored and fully operating.  A tractor pull, exhibits of antique tractors and antique engines, even an antique tractor parade.  There will also be threshing/straw baling demonstrations, a working sawmill and a blacksmith shop for you to tour.
