After a complete dismantling of Frenship Friday night in Wolfforth, the Central Bobcats are gearing up for their annual battle with the Permian Panthers.  Just like in 2015, this game may come close to setting a San Angelo Stadium attendance record as the winner will likely be champion of District 2-6A.  Like Central, Permian has yet to lose a game.

This season the Panthers use a run first offense.  80% of their yardage in six games has come via the ground game.  But when they pass, it's been for big plays.  Quarterback Steve Steen has thrown for eight touchdowns, without an interception, and run for another 11.  He's their second leading rusher behind Ed Williams.

Make no mistake, this is going to be a real battle.  This Permian team is really good.  The team that makes the fewest mistakes is going to come out on top.

Get your tickets early folks.
