The Angelo State University Choir’s popular Halloween Spooktacular will include two performances, at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, and Tuesday,  Oct. 16, in the McNease Convention Center, 500 Rio Concho Drive.

This year’s program, titled “Follow the Yellow Brick Road,” will feature selections from “The Wizard of Oz” and Stephen Schwartz’s Broadway Blockbuster "Wicked".

A children's costume contest will be held in the McNease Lobby at 6:00 p.m. each evening for children in two age groups.  Children up to 5 years old and children ages 6-12 will have their costumes judged with awards presented during each concert.  ASU’s mascots Roscoe and Bella will be on hand to take photos with the children and help distribute Halloween candy.

Join the ASU Choir as they “treat” you to an evening of beautiful sounds, thrilling sights, and lots of laughter as they sing and dance down the yellow brick road in Spooktacular XI.
