Slamfest has been a successful event for many years.  The goal is to offer a big event for tennis enthusiasts in San Angelo while helping to raise funds for the Children’s Advocacy Center in order to meet the needs of abused and neglected children in the community.

The Children’s Advocacy Center strives to prevent child abuse and neglect and secure for each child, a safe and nurturing home. They provide hope and healing to children and families through four programs: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Hope House, Family Enrichment Services and the Child Fatality Review Team.
