David Harvey, M.D., cardiologist, is retiring from Shannon Clinic. He has been a part of the medical staff at Shannon since 1996.
A retirement reception is scheduled for Friday, February 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Shannon Women’s & Children’ Conference Room, 201 E. Harris. Current and former patients, staff and the public are invited to attend.

Dr. Harvey was born in Long Beach, Calif. He earned he bachelor’s degree from Harding College in Searcy, Ark., and his medical degree from the University of California in Irvine, Calif. He then completed his internship at Los Angeles County General Hospital. His internal medicine residency was completed at Orange County Medical Center in Orange, Calif., and the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. Dr. Harvey also completed his fellowship at the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Francisco.

Dr. Harvey is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
