On the Chili Road Again!

2 States, over 700 miles, and 3 chili cookoffs makes for a very busy Memorial Day Weekend!
Boomer started on Friday Night heading to Durant, Oklahoma for the 30th Southwest Open Chili Championship! 137 Chili Cooks competed for the Championship, and the Top 3 Winners qualified for the Terlingua International Chili Championship in November!

The flags at the Choctaw Casino Resort are at half staff in honor of those who perished in Moore, Oklahoma.

It's a Red, White & Blue Weekend!

Everybody's working to make that perfect pot of chili!

Jon Reese Sr. of Wichita Falls Wins the Glyn & Jo Ann Gaines Traveling Trophy for 1st Place Chili, and the "Who's Your Monkey?" Show Team from Arp, Texas Wins 1st Place
in Chili Showmanship! Thanks to the NOB Pod and the Charlie at the Choctaw Casino
Resort KOA Park for the hospitality!

The next stop is the Water Valley Park for 2 cookoffs to benefit local charities! Parking
is at a premium when it's time to announce the awards!
