Jason Aldean To Be Part Of New Show On E!

Landing a gig as the opening act for an established star is a huge career boost for any up-and-coming artist.A new show on E! will offer a chance to do that and Jason Aldean is one of the main stars involved.

According to the New York daily news, the man behind the new show is Nigel Lythgoe, current producer of American Idol.

The new show called Opening Act, will feature Jason, Mary J. Blige, Rod Stewart and Nicki Minaj searching the internet for videos of unknown performers.  The best ones get a chance to open for the big stars on the show.
