The Tom Green County Crisis Intervention Unit is recruiting volunteers for their Spring Training Class.

Training begins on Saturday, February 13th and continues through March 19th.

Once you complete the training, you will be a civilian first responder who provides on scene intervention with victims of crime & crisis when requested by law enforcement.

After your 36 hours of training, you'll will sign up for 12 hour shifts, during which you'll carry a pager to be alerted to a request. Volunteers always respond in pairs.
