In case you haven't heard, the book 'Fifty Shades of Grey', by E.L James is a nation wide best seller.  Many describe this steamy erotic novel as "soccer-mom porn".Cathy Schweinsberg, Brevard County, Florida, library services director, pulled the novel from the library's shelves, after reading it. That's a move that has a lot of  adults in that area of the state upset.  Many consider it a violation of The First Amendment.

While I haven't read the book and probably won't because it's not my cup of tea, I made a phone call to Marcy Bosequett, Community Relations Coordinator for the Tom Green County Library  System.  Marcy assured me that the book is available here in San Angelo.  They have three copies but you'll have to get your name on a huge waiting list to read it.  I think you can understand why.

The Main Library's address is, 113 W. Beauregard Ave.  Phone # 325-655-7321.
