Breast Cancer Barbeque & Chili Cookoff

68 Chili Cooks and 65 Barbeque Teams came to the Midland American Legion to compete  and to support Gifts of Hope and other charities!

It takes a lot of sponsors to make this event a big fundraiser & success!

1st Place in Showmanship and raised lots of money! Way to go!

in all categories!
Special recognition goes to Patsy Childress, who has done a fantastic job of making this
one of the premiere barbeque and chili cookoffs in Texas! This cookoff has raised more
than $357,000.00 before this year, and will pass the $400,000.00 mark after this year's
donations are tallied. All proceeds benefit women's Breast Cancer Charities in West Texas!
