Before we get to all of listeners celebrating here on August 2nd, how about a big salute today for the "King of the Condiments".

It's National Mustard Day!

How much do you know about mustard?  For starters, most of us consider it a must have for hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages, plus a wide range of sandwiches and even salads.  Mustard is also an important ingredient in lots of recipes, as well.

World wide it is used as an ingredient in many dressings, glazes, sauces, soups, and marinades.  That makes it one of the most popular and widely used spices and condiments to be found anywhere.

News flash!  These days mustard is diversified.  Not only will you find it in traditional yellow, but in a growing selection of flavors like, Honey Mustard, Bold and Spicy, Sharp and Creamy and don't forget, Dijon Mustard.  Take a trip to the grocery store and you probably will find even more choices.

As you can see, mustard truly has a lot going for it.  So, make sure you slather plenty  on something, before this day ends and enjoy this National Mustard Day.
