If this is your birthday, congratulations! On this date in 1966, country music singer Eddy Arnold was inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame. In 2010, he received a Star on Nashville's Music City Walk Of Fame.

We really can't be certain as to the meaning of this very nutty day. There are a few very obvious possibilities:

Perhaps this is the day to honor all of the nutty people in the world, and give recognition to all the kooks, loony birds and daffy people in your life. Show them you care today.

This day could also be used to celebrate nutritious and healthy nuts (food) of all kinds. Celebrate today by eating lots of nuts, either as a snack, or in baked goods.
