Birthdays For November 4th + It’s Election Day

Congratulations if this is your birthday.  You share it with songwriter/producer and Country Music Hall of Fame member, Billy Sherrill.  Billy was born on this date in 1936, in Phil Campbell, Alabama.  He would go on to write such songs as, "Stand By Your Man", "Almost Persuaded" and "The Most Beautiful Girl".  He would produce hit records for Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Johnny Paycheck and Marty Robbins and many others.      It's Election Day!

Democracy may not be perfect, but it's better than any other type of government on earth.  With it comes freedoms and safeguards that just don't exist in most other countries.
