If this is your birthday, congratulations! You are celebrating along with country singer, Billy Currington, born in Savannah, Georgia, in 1973. Debuting with "Walk A Little Straighter" in 2003, he applies an easy-going vocal style to a string of hits, including "Don't," "That's How Country Boys Roll" and "People Are Crazy".

This Is Great American Day!

The goal of this special day is quite obvious: to get people to quit smoking, resulting in fewer health problems, and  less cancer and emphysema deaths resulting from smoking and secondary smoke.

Quitting is not an easy task. In fact it can be down right hard to quit. Often(usually), it takes repeated efforts. That's okay, as long as you keep trying until you finally succeed. The health benefits, and the prospect of a longer life are crystal clear.

The American Cancer Society encourages all smokers to give up the "butt" today. Join millions of other Americans today and take a big step to a happier, healthier, longer life.

Today, "Snuff 'Em Out"!
