Birthdays For February 6th + Doodle Day

Congratulations if you are celebrating a birthday on this finally Friday!  There is also a country music artist turning a year older today.  Richie McDonald, born in Lubbock, Texas, in 1962. He becomes the lead singer of Lonestar, whose slick harmonies define a series of hits beginning in the mid-1990s, including "No News," "I'm Already There" and their smash pop crossover ballad "Amazed".  Happy 53rd, Richie!

Today, why not celebrate all those idle sketches you make while on the phone, or in those boring meetings.  Yes, it's time to free your creative spirit and take a sketchpad to that next meeting.

By the way, Doodle Day became a worldwide event back in 2004, to raise awareness for epilepsy research and support.  There is a celebrity auction held on eBay, where folks can bid on doodles created by well known artists like Rolf Harris.  Check it out today.
