If this is your birthday, congratulations! Two names in country music are also celebrating along with you today. Bobby Bare born near Ironton, Ohio, in 1935. He earns a reputation as a champion for songwriters and for good songs, garnering hits with "500 Miles Away From Home," "Marie Laveau" and "Detroit City," which earns him a Grammy in 1963. He joins the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2013. Happy 80th, Bobby! Also turning a year older today, Restless Heart drummer John Dittrich, born in Batavia, New York, in 1951. He provides harmonies on a string of 1980s hits and sings lead on "When She Cries" in 1992. Dittrich also co-founds the short-lived group The Buffalo Club. Happy 64th, John!

Today is your chance to do anything but housework! Yes, simply cease and desist this thankless job for one day.

Better yet, have somebody else do all the housework for a day. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Now Let's P-A-R-T-Y!
