Hailed for his instrumental work on his self-designed guit-steel, he becomes a critics' favorite in the 1990s and wins the Country Music Association's video award for "My Wife Thinks You're Dead". Happy 63rd, Junior! Also born on this date, Chris Young in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in 1985. He wins "Nashville Star" in 2006, earning an Academy of Country Music awards nomination and builds a hit list that includes "Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)," "Voices" and "Tomorrow". Happy 30th, Chris! It was one year ago today, when,The Band Perry's Kimberly Perry married Texas Rangers catcher J.P. Arencibia at the First Presbyterian Church in Greeneville, Tennessee.
