It's National Be Late for Something Day!

Today make sure you "stop and smell the roses", enjoy the scenery and slow down.  Take a long lunch hour, spend some time with a friend, play with your kids, whatever.  Just take this opportunity to be late something.  Don't worry, because today, it's O.K.

Being late for something is actually pretty common.  There are various reasons to be late.  Some are intentional, others are not.  Professionals, such as doctors and lawyers are notoriously late for something.  Usually it is their appointment with you.  Remember too, that is proper to be "fashionably late" for social events such as parties.

This "unofficial" national holiday was started by the Procrastinators' Club of America, as a day to promote the positive side of procrastination.

Here's hoping you enjoy your participation in this day, but please remember, whatever you do, Don't Be Late For Dinner!
