If your birthday is today, congratulations!  You are sharing this date with, Judy Kay "Juice" Newton,  born at Lakehurst Naval Base, New Jersey, in 1952. A distant descendent of Sir Isaac Newton, she earns pop/country crossover hits during the 1980s with "Queen Of Hearts," "Angel Of The Morning" and "Break It To Me Gently".  Happy 63rd, Juice!

It's National Battery Day!

This day is all about celebrating and recognizing just how important the simple battery is in our everyday lives.  Consider how many household items use batteries.  They are used everywhere, from the battlefield to smoke alarms to headsets.  You'll find them in all shapes, sizes and power capacities.

Imagine where we would be without them.  You'd still be using a crank to start your car.  You'd have to carry around a very long extension cord to power those hand-held games.

You bet'cha, batteries are electrifying!  So, here's hoping everyone gets a real charge out of National Battery Day!

Now Let's P-A-R-T-Y!
