If you are celebrating a birthday today, congratulations! It's also the birthday of country music record producer Allen Reynolds. Born in North Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1938, he produces Crystal Gayle's "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue," Kathy Mattea's "Eighteen Wheels And A Dozen Roses" and Garth Brooks' "Shameless". He was also inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2000. Happy 77th, Allen. 

This Is Bad Poetry Day!  

Yes, this is a day to create some really bad verse. You may wonder why would we want to do that?  Answer: because we can!

This day may also exist to allow us to better appreciate good poetry.

Here's an example of bad poetry that's been around for a while.

"You're a poet,

 Though, you may not  know it.

 But your feet show it,

 Cause, their Longfellow's ".

I'm sure, if you try today, you can come up with something just as as bad as that.
