As Kevin Feige says in the new behind-the-scenes look at James Gunn's 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' as debuted during Tuesday night's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' the film is meant to be (the start of) the next level of Marvel movies. From here on out, Phase 2 promises to feature more out-there adventures, which means going into space (and perhaps beyond).

Marvel Could Release New Superhero Films Quarterly
Since 2011 Marvel has been pushing to release two films a year. Last year gave us 'Iron Man 3' and 'Thor: The Dark World' with this year offering both 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' while 2015 will bring 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' and 'Ant-Man.' And as the studio keeps having hits, they may expand their slate to release three to four films a year.
