ASU’s Club Café to Host Comic

Angelo State University’s Club Café coffeehouse-style entertainment series will feature comedienne Tracey Ashley at 7:30 p.m. this Wednesday, Oct. 29, in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive.Sponsored by the University Center Program Council, Ashley will perform in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center, with doors opening at 7 p.m. Admission prices will be $2 for ASU students and $5 for the general public at the door.

A Georgia native who grew up in the Midwest, Ashley has performed at college campuses and comedy clubs across the country. She was nominated by Campus Activities Magazine as Best Female Performer for her seamless story-telling, sharp topical material and hilarious punchlines. Ashley was a semi-finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” Season 5, a co-host on TVLand’s “Prime Movies” and appeared in the OWN Network’s comedy special “Wanda Sykes Presents: Herlarious.” Ashley’s “Two First Names” CD is available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon.
