Angelo State University’s Office of Student Affairs will host the Region 15 Education Service Center’s (ESC) annual College and Career Transition Fair this Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive. The fair will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center and is open free to the public. All local and area high school students with special needs and their parents are encouraged to attend.

The focus of the event is to introduce students with special needs to the resources available in the community to support them in meeting their post-secondary goals in the areas of education, training, employment and independent living. The fair has also been expanded this year to include resources for students with dyslexia, students receiving services through Section 504 and migrant students. Over 40 local, area and state agencies and businesses will be on hand to share information with students and their parents.

This is the first year that ASU has hosted the College and Career Transition Fair.
